Welcome to [eax]
Enhanced Application eXperience ([eax]), a division within Picsart Academy , offers advanced training in backend and frontend application development. Established on August 1, 2024, in the former Yellow Space, [eax] is designed for Picsart Academy pre-graduates, graduates, and experienced developers. It provides advanced courses, level-up programs, and collaborative projects. Applications and updates are available on [eax] and Picsart Academy’s websites and social media.
Courses and Programs
The [eax] department currently offers an advanced course starting on August 12, 2024, in collaboration with the Atlas 2 group. This course focuses on JavaScript and advanced web development techniques, aimed at enhancing the skills of experienced developers. You can find the program details here .
In the future, [eax] plans to introduce additional advanced courses, including a dedicated Advanced JavaScript course and a comprehensive Software Engineering Level-Up course. These programs will provide in-depth knowledge and advanced training to help developers excel in their respective fields.
Projects
The [eax] department collaborates with academy students, including pre-graduates and graduates from various groups, on several ongoing projects. These projects utilize a variety of technologies, such as C++, web development, Python, and more. Here are some of the key projects:
Deeptapod: Focuses on text processing and Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks, providing students with hands-on experience in advanced computational linguistics.
New Kaspersky: A challenging project where students work to implement a new antivirus software from scratch, inspired by the well-known Kaspersky antivirus. This project involves deep dives into cybersecurity and software engineering.
Code Navigator: Concentrates on code visualization, navigation, and smart parsing, with the goal of developing a smart Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for developers. This project aims to enhance coding efficiency and accuracy.
Search Engine Project: Conducted in conjunction with the Backend Renaissance course, this project involves creating a robust search engine, giving students practical experience in backend development and information retrieval systems.
MiniApps Projects: Utilizes React and Next.js to develop applications for Picsart-specific tasks and projects. These projects allow students to apply their front-end development skills in real-world scenarios.
